Rural Rhythm Records unveils first single by Brandon Rickman

Rural Rhythm Records will unveil the first single, “Always Have, Always Will” by BRANDON RICKMAN next week on “Fresh Cuts and Key Tracks” serviced to radio stations. This fiery, captivating new single was co-written by Brandon Rickman and Chris Stapleton (The Steeldrivers). The song is enhanced by Brandon’s signature lead vocals, matched with the beautifully blended harmony vocals by Terry Eldridge (The Grascals), and incredible intro and reprise by fellow Rural Rhythm artist, Randy Kohrs on resonator guitar. Other musicians on the single include: Aaron McDaris (Rhonda Vincent & The Rage) on banjo, Jenee’ Fleenor (Terri Clark) on fiddle, and Brandon performing guitar, bass, mandolin.

The song is from Brandon’s upcoming first solo album, “YOUNG MAN, OLD SOUL,” set for a June 30, 2009 release where he co-wrote 10 out of the 12 tracks. Along with Stapleton, Brandon recruited many of his other talented songwriting friends including, Tammy Rogers (The Steeldrivers); Jerry Salley, Kevin Denney, and Charley Stefl. Other musicians on the album include: Jamie Johnson (The Grascals); and fellow Lonesome River Band members, Andy Ball and Mike Anglin.

Brandon can also be heard on the Lonesome River Band’s current #1 chart album, “NO TURNING BACK,” (Rural Rhythm) where he serves as lead vocalist and guitarist with the group. The Lonesome River Band is also celebrating two current chart singles, “Them Blues” with lead vocals provided by Brandon, and “Like A Train Needs a Track” with lead vocals provided by Andy Ball. Other band members include critically acclaimed banjoist and band leader, Sammy Shelor, along with Mike Hartgrove on fiddle and Mike Anglin on bass.
